Carol Bell, has been a decorative painter for 16 years; living and
working from her home in Hopkinton, NH.
From her earliest days she has been interested in arts and crafts
and was always doodling and sketching. Years later when she
discovered decorative painting it just seemed a perfect fit.
She enjoys working with acrylics and painting flowers and nature
scenes. Sometimes taking inspiration from local points of interest or
walks in the woods with her dogs.
For many years she has painted on wood but recently began to
paint on fabric. Specializing in painting on T-Shirts, Clay Pots and
Tote Bags.
"The nice thing about painting is that it is relaxing and you are
always able to challenge yourself and are always learning."
Carol had taken lessons for several years from a local decorative
painter and attended many seminars and workshops.
"Joining the Valley Artisans, the summer of 2008, gave me the
opportunity to connect with other crafters and to promote, share and
continue our love of crafting."
